"If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. The extent to which you can walk in someone else's shoes or at least eat their food, it's a plus for everybody. Open your mind, get up off the couch, move.” -- Anthony Bourdain
Some of our most pleasant experiences have been enjoying the wonderful food at the different places along the way. We lived in Japan for eight years, and immersed ourselves as much as possible in the local culture, which included some wonderful - and different - food adventures.
Dinner in the restaurant at Hotel Seegashof Stadler, on the Attersee near the town of Stockwinkl, in Austria. A tender, perfectly prepared steak with roasted veggies, and the ham and asparagus plate with Hollandaise sauce. One of the most outstanding places we've ever stayed, and the restaurant was superb. Very highly recommended!
